We've been told milk is good-that's a crime against human health. I hope people will start researching on their own, looking for independent resources, not ones sponsored by the dairy industry. I second the comment by karmavores about the osteoporosis. Unfortunately osteoporosis is not the only danger, casein, the protein found in milk is carcinogenic too. Casein unlocks diabetes in premature babies with genetic tendency for the disease. This and many more dangers are hidden in drinking milk!
Are you kidding me? How pathetic. It is not a coincidence that countries which drink the most milk per person have the highest rates of osteoporosis. Milk protein is acidic and in order for our bodies to neutralize the acidity (which our bodies must do) we have to use up phosphate. The only source of phosphate in our bodies is in our bones. So we take that away leaving our bones weaker. Good sources of calcium would be in dark leafy greens, nuts, beans/lentils.
