  • jerry, you should do more of these with you playing!

  • Hey Jerrry,

I'd like to know why did you want to avoid exchanging dark squared bishop??

    thanks.

  • Interesting game... What program do you use for recording? Thanks

  • Glad to see I'm not the only one posting my losses :-)

    Good work Jerry

  • Good game. I definitely found it very instructive.

  • I know exactly what you mean Jerry, you think about a certain move, but then forget it f or a second and then quickly do something else

  • I don't recall you making any other blunders before. Lots of respect showing your blunder.

  • Never mind...i blundered that comment

  • After 22.Bc2, your rook on a1 is gone ;-)

  • does Jerry commentate and play simultaneously? Holy cow.

  • @amerikanits yepp

  • 5:28 for some reason I laughed when you said "Wow" :)

Makes me feel better to see that everybody blunders from time to time :)

  • ollie you was on ustream ? tons of games by Jerry

  • 1:35 "Jerry, are you livestreaming again?" LOL

By the way, I can't believe even IM's make these sort of blunders.

  • 9:47 "avoid the dark Bishop exchange" why please>

  • Just a bad day at work.It happens to everyone:)

  • Thanks Jerry, 22 was long awaited :). 2800+ rating on cube.... Respect!!

  • Love your explanations Jerry. More vids of your games please!

  • any advice for a someone not accustomed to playing with a clock?

  • im the same, i get carried away with complex possitional play then i loose a pice in exactly the same circumstances !

  • Longer controls, longer controls! Jerry, you're such a calculating, analytical player -- why don't you opt for 10 min. games? Are you worried to come across too many cheaters with engines?

    Good and instructive game! Thanks!

  • Not true, kings crusher 2500-2600, matthewdignam 2600 and av India 2500 there are also many another 2800 players

  • the first time i see you lose

  • I really like your video, and i even like them more when you upload losses, also blunders.

  • ouch

  • Hi Jerry, I think it shows good character of you to show us one of your losses. I'm sure having to do commentry while playing the game contributed to the blunder. As always I learned something from your video & look forward to your next. I'm a much stronger player now & I put a big part of that donw to your & dragonlalic's excellent youtube tuition. Thanks Jerry!

  • @NottinghamEngland Thanks! :)

  • you never seem to be playing anyone anywhere near your rating. like im a 1700 player, if i was playing a 1200 player (ie 500 below like u are in this game) there wouldnt seem any point?

  • @trixapete what are you talking about, he plays people of his own ranking all the time

  • Comment removed

  • @trixapete When you get to be Jerry's rating, it is hard to find anyone of the same rating, 2300 is probably the next highest rated player playing at the time he was on.

  • Happens to me all the time :D I hate myself afterwards :P but it's good for a laugh.

  • these are great fun to watch, whether you win or lose. there is always something to learn!

  • @clintbreed 2803

  • D'oh!

  • Haha, that was a terrible game, Jerry! Happens to the best of us, man.

  • nah sorry didn't like this game :( thumbs down

  • You sounded tired this vid :/

  • I know that you might've liked having that knight pivoted on b6 there, but to me, I think that there are times when it's good and times when it is not too good. I think black did a good job evacuating major pieces from your pivoted knight which ended up not doing much in my opinion. Black kind of went around the knight, so instead of going straight down the queen side, black got to the king side and then jumped into the queen side.

  • I play this in lightning (with a4) as white. I try to get in Bc4, but rather than Bg5, I usually play the bishop to e3. Black usually plays Be6 and there's pressure between the two bishops. I usually leave the pressure there and black invariably plays Bxc4, and after I recapture with my a3 knight, I have pressure against black's b6 square. I know this is very hypothetical, but it works for me in lightning :)

  • Do you have elo? and fide Title?

  • 10:25 is it wrong for black to take with the knight and fork your rooks? I do see that you can fork his king and rook as well, but would it be a blunder to move on as such?

  • That move blunder was so fail lol

  • Yes, that happens to me, too! That happened to me in my game against GM Finegold, but it's more embarrassing for me because yours was in blitz and mine was G/40.

  • Before I watched this I was thinking that you only put up videos of you winning. You proved me wrong big time lol

  • Great video!

  • nice, It would have been interesting though to see how that game would have played out if you didn't blunder... :P

  • nice vid

  • Also: you should do bullet zone tournaments. Those are awesome!

  • O_o

  • First! Beat you Jerry haha :P

  • @RaiderFan0208 Man you're quick! :)
