Deepak's words must give solace to complete ignoramuses. His hollow words are intended to mystify you - smoke and mirrors. His accent only makes it seem that much more exotic and arcane. Deepak Chopra, fuck you. Lead the lambs to slaughter, you charlatan.
I understand what he says because I have experienced a shift in consciousness in India. Deepak Chopra is one of the most important people in the world today for getting people to move to another consciousness level. He bridges spirituality with orthodox religion. You will all see what he says is going to be common truth.
For those of you who are DIRECTLY interpreting everything he says is where you are making a mistake, you are not being conscious. Listen to what he is saying, make connections with everything else you know, and go from there. Dont think everything he is saying is not true because YOU dont believe it, look at it from different perspectives :-)
You're absolutley correct in your thoughts, and the dis-confirming responses surprise me. The amount of effort put into turning your ideas and words into something less expansive than it easily displays is futile, is it not? Thank you for internal confimation and reaffirmation of my own beliefs in the 5 sense reality, and the true nature of my being, and no less all creation as a whole. Have a wonderful time, every time, all the time :)
- i think that is just the only way that "uneducated" people from not knowing any better , make sense in their minds of the magnanimity of the mysterious scientific universe that we are still exploring and learning about but is intense and extremely hard to explain....
I get the feeling that the people who are criticising this guy are doing so because they don't understand what he is saying. If you don't understand something, that's -your- problem, not anyone else's. He's talking about philosophy, which -precedes- science. To subject that which precedes by that which it precedes is ludicrous, and is the mark of a highly illogical mind (or rather, is a highly illogical thought - I needn't generalise). Read some philosophy, and take your ad hominems elsewhere.
'How you can manifest anything in your life' is an absurd statement of idiots like him. You cannot. There are physical limitations. Human brains are limited, can't imagine beyond the physics of this planet, only 'cut & paste'. 'mix & match'. That is all. Charlatans use hip terms to make their wares sell. They know nothing about QED yet they use it like it is going out of fashion. Others, equally ignorant buy. We live in a super idiotic world, void of real knowledge. Doctor & Quack.
Deepak is a snake oil salesman. He is in it for the money.
The problem is that some of the subjects that he pretends to address are serious subjects. But don't look to Deepak for a serious discussion of those subjects.

Quantum wooooooo! Deepak needs your money! Reality does not need an observer! The non-locality of quantum particles happens only at the quantum level. Not with ordinary sized objects like apples or ... . The collapse of the wave-nature to the particle-nature is not caused by human consciousness, but the physical act of observation.
quantum creativity? wow, complete nonsense, and i think he knows it, he knows that what he says is crap, however looking the comments it seems that people really buy it just because he uses scientific words, how sad ....
@AtheistKharm Hmm don't be so sure. you should watch this. very interesting & based in hard science. i did not know the meaning of qualia while watching the video in this link. the scientist kept mentioning that word so i googled it. this was the 1st link i was led to.... i guest qualia is just the term being used for how we experience consciousness and the sense of I, me, my thoughts my feelings, my free will etc.
@AtheistKharm Its very interesting stuff. but like not flaky spiritual stuff based on nothing. it really is its very heavy scientific stuff. you should look into it. so curious & fascinating. you might enjoy! :) here is the link. God doesn't mean a man in the sky that knows all and is all powerful
@AtheistKharm i would recommend studying up on quantum science, the wave function, Shrodingers cat, the double slit experiment, quantum entanglement etc - i have great videos on them in my quantum science playlist on my youtube channel - but here is the link i was talking about earlier. very good solid information
@AtheistKharm If you google "2911199841702354668" you should find the full interview there. It will say "Stuart Hameroff Interview - An interview with Stuart Hameroff. Consciousness and brain function are discussed in layman's terms. Hameroff has worked with mathematician Roger Penrose to map neurological brain function to the world of quantum mechanics" Science & "Spirit" really are interconnected and not separate things at all. Our lay minds just have difficulty connecting the dots.
@AtheistKharm - Science has its limitations and certainly does not have all the answers. Science studies the effects, that which belongs to Time and Space, but does not explain the First Cause. Science cannot measure Infinity so its use of measurements is meaningless when it steps outside the box of the physical realm. However, Spirituality, or Metaphysics, do not run contrary to Science, they go beyond it! That is the path before us.

@AtheistKharm The quantum world is based on uncertainty and and probabilities. What if pure counsciousness is only like one big "quantum state" of infinite possibilities and that those possibilities are narrowed down to a finite number (known quantum mechanics) by a collective counsciousness "limited" by our universe and finally experienced as one (wave function collapse) by the mean of an individual counsciousness "limited" by our physical bodies? Seems possible enough to me. Who knows?
@MULESLAX Yeah, very egoistic concept. Although he is saying that human consciousness is not "human" at all, and that cosciousness is universal, but mostly I suspect that this is not true

... Sometimes i have a strange feeling that " everything is true", simply because the Universe is the manifestation of all the possibilities, I believe we live in multi-dimensional Universe, where all possibilities ALREADY EXIST ... Seems that the Universe will always say " yes", whatever we believe in.
I choose to believe that, LOL
That's my choice i believe :-)))

Those who lost can take their money back." Born and bred in the Catholic faith, Bonaparte had no preference for any dogma. When he re-established divine worship it was done as a political act, not as a religous one.
Deepak, you said once something very interesting and wonderful that feel true to me - God didn't create the Universe, he became the Universe. It means that there is no difference between external and internal that there are no real boundaries between "the worlds"...
If " God only knows what you know", does it mean that God's consciousness constantly evolves? If so- is The Universe constantly growing/ and expanding ? some scientists say it will stop growing one day when it will reach its limits
Deepak, u say that " Without a conscious being there would be no Universe", but what if the Universe itself IS A CONSCIOUS BEING ? - with or without us:-) i believe everything is possible, but I just don't get HOW :-))) If our consciousness evolve - can we say that The Self-Consciousness of the Whole Universe evolves too? If we are the Universe- and we suffer sometimes, can we say that the Universe suffers sometimes or if we create illness, can we say that The Universe gets ill sometimes?
I'm sorry, i'm not going to say words of agreement. Reality EXISTS out of our consciousness. The Universe existed before i was borne and will continue to exist after i died. Ask that to romans or dinossaurs, for all i care...
@innstinctx - Your birth and death is again an experience to your consciousness.. It happens only to your body and your consciousness is eternal (out of space and time).. hope this clarifies you.
i believe we are all children of a universe that has the ultimate knowledge of consciousness and perception. At it's beginning , the universe gave birth to every possible solution to every possible equation and in that knowledge chose a course for creating the very reality we each participate in while conscious. This is the only life each of us will ever know. To be conscious of this experience after death would be far too complex for our minds to comprehend. Life would have no value.
I think the problem is less with being afraid of our own true nature, but the fear that we may be excepting something ridiculous. We have been so conditioned to think in a certain way that the fear of believing in so called "mumbo jumbo" triggers our hyper-rational mind as a defense mechanism. We dont accept things because we are afraid of "being wrong and feeling dumb," essentially.
Another question:has it not been proved that the Universe existed before any life (and thus any conscience) could have existed in it? Doesn't that show that the universe precedes conscience?
How do I explain the death of my daughter at just 22 yrs old, hit by a car in the middle of a crosswalk on her college campus, by a woman in Baltimore who is a criminal and yet was not put in jail? This is my second daughter killed by a car...now I have no children. Is that Karma? I believe in Quantum physics but where are my darling young daughters now????? Can I ever hold them and hug them once again?
Think of it as a random event that occurred in the cosmos, like the colliding of two stars. Perhaps there was even something your daughter(s) that attracted/invited that into their lives?I'm not saying it's their fault, because there is no such thing, but it's a possibility. You wont get to hold them and hug them again, and you must reconcile that.Know that their energy is still there but has been transformed from their physical form to the formless one consciousness, from which we are all born.
@sashanaod trying to get my head around that but when you lose such a part of yourself, it is hard to reconcile science with emotion...I have to believe in something positive about her, who at just 22 yrs, had so much more to offer the arts, the animals and humanity, that the cruelty of her sudden end becomes each day more and more unbearable...more than a close friend, more than a soulmate, more than one's own self...and one's legacy and future all smashed into darkness.
@onepoetlover We cannot fathom the point where two parallel lines meet. Maybe if the woman hadnt hit your daughter, she may have gone on and collided with a schoolbus full of children. Maybe your daughters life saved those children. We can never judge any event as good or bad because we can never know the end result of every probability. Every action has a result. That is all karma is.
I think the biggest problem people are having with what your talking about and spreading, Deepak - is that they/the ego(including myself to some degree - a degree smaller than some and most, and larger in many cases too) are scared of being the spiritually enlightened beings that we all are. They/we/I fear (mind-fear) the drastic changes, that deep within them they know, that will come about and how this will change our world/time/existence. Thanks to your wisdom though, the shift is happening
i think the solution is for Deepak to point to others (he is sort of a loner i think!) who will provide other angles on what he is pointing at. !HA -- now he names Wheeler & Everett & Wigner!.. but i mean that Deepak should name others who also unflatten the tent, up from the high-gravity flattening of our minds that makes us reject thoughts as 'unrational' (read, Not With The Program). Terrence McKenna, Robert Anton Wilson, The Subgenius Foundation, Carl Jung, Carlos Castaneda. A team effort.

What we call 'magic' - manifesting that which is diverges greatly from dominant realities is surely 'real;' surely possible.
To REALIZE these blessed moments, to activate the extraordinary probability requires our close attunement with our Greater Self - in practical terms, we have to feel REALLY GOOD; empowered, free, passionate, loving and loved. CONNECTED TO SOURCE. In this state, we CAN manifest anything. Magic is always broadcasting, but we must tune our receivers to that frequency.

Deepak has become a Guru ,who in my opinion has made a mockery out of Neuroscience , willingly or unwillingly blending science with pseudoscience.
He is very good at marketing. He might want to read V.S.Ramachandran and oliver Sachs and combine his literary skills to spread science.

i think the solution is for Deepak to point to others (he is sort of a loner i think!) who will provide other angles on what he is pointing at. !HA -- NOW he names Wheeler & Everett & Wigner!.. but i mean that Deepak should name others who also unflatten the tent, up from the high-gravity flattening of our minds that makes us reject thoughts as 'unrational' (read, Not With The Program). Terrence McKenna, Robert Anton Wilson, The Subgenius, Carl Jung, Carlos Castaneda.
