@ListenUpYah Not in Sabre fencing; Parry 3 - Tierce. Hand/ wrist pronated with blade pointing upward. The same would apply to Foil and Epee, only quite simply tierce is a secondary parry, very rarely used and of course in those weapons, your en garde position will often remain in Sixte line, with your hand partially supinated.

lol... I think I met this guy some years ago... but, yes, I do not think we'd want to call a basic parry an "intermediate" move.
