Learn your diatonic scale forms first, so you know where to strike instinctively and intuitively. Then work on the striking harmonic technique, and make sure you have a decent guitar.

And no, I don't play harp. I've been playing guitar for ten years, and I don't rely on gimmicks to impress people. Although I do admit this guy has his diatonic scale forms down very well, he is only recognized for these tapping harmonics, not his traditional playing. It's another trend.
