Well if you want metal chunk, the D-Activators are better. But if you're looking for better clarity for leads and whatnot, the Evos are better by far.

Regular spaced pickups tend to go in the neck position. F-spaced (Fender spaced or floyd spaced depending on who you ask) have more distance between pole pieces for, you guessed it, floyds and fenders. Alot of people put F-spaced in the bridge even if they don't have a floating trem.

More low end. Compare bands that use 7 strings to bands that use 6 strings, and you'll notice that usually bands that use 7 string guitars, play alot heavier stuff. Not to mention, it almost eliminates the need for a bassist if the rhythm guitarist uses a 7 string (This is coming from a bassist with experience with this, lol)

create a restore point before you use the trial for the first time, then after the trial is up use the restore point lol. When u use the trial it puts a file in the registry which is permanent and can only be deleted that way or by formatting your drive lol

just perfect! just one little thing that youll find it out very important, at 1:47, when you do the E and then D, the right chords are first the E and then a B DIMINISHED, i play it 2nd fret on A, 3rd fret on D, 4th fret on G and 6th fret on B strnig, but because i play a 6 strings guitar. But out of there, that was terrific, im just figuring this song out ;) i know unearth play with 7 strings guitars but we need to do things whit what we have XD salutes!!

i think i know what you're talking about - i am playing a diminished chord there but not with the octave (4th fret), just playing the root with dimished fifth or whatever you call it. if you want to play this with 6 string, i suggest you download the guitar pro tab and it has a tool for transcribing to 6 string guitar with whatever tuning you prefer. check it out at ultimate guitar web site. cheers

how is the evo 7 pick up for squeeling harmonics? my pickups in my rg 7321 arnt great for pinched harmonics, i want to put an EMG 707 in there, but im not sure, coz they are active... however a blaze or ev0 7 might doo..

EMG is an option if you are looking for that particular sound, but you have to route the pickup cavity to make room for them. evo 7 works well for pinch harmonics and it gives the low B a really tight sound, i don't know much about the blaze but you should search around for audio clips. checked out some of your vids, nice work man. cheers

i chose the Evo 7 based on some reviews from sevenstring dot org. i think the blaze bridge is another option. but the evo7 is pretty heavy, i've gotten some nasty tones out of it.
