if you have problems making the line straight for your white tip you can use tape but thats only if you want the straight line not if you want to go with the natural arch of your nail.

ohh and with the tips, i put sticky tape over the area i dont want white and then paint it like normal, so when you take off the tape it gives you a really straight line ^___^

You should do this with an orange base because this design is closer to tiger stripes than zebra stripes. Maybe you could look at a zebra print while you're painting and try varying the thickness of the stripes.

1. Practice practice practice!! I'm right handed too, and I was like that for a long time. After a while of doing it, you start to get better!

2. It would look great on short nails! Doing the whole nail is a great alternative to doing it on the tips!

You're right in way, but there's such a thing as constructive criticism. There's a way to critique without being rude. Telling her that her attempts are worthless is a rude thing to say. You could have just nicely pointed out tips for improvement. I'm sure you wouldn't have liked it if I told you your efforts were worthless on your first try doing zebra tips.
