A North Wind Blows, West Runton, 29th November 2008

I used to live at Cromer 50 years ago and used to run to Sheringham & back via West Runton most days. I still go there occasionally. This video has captured the very essence of that delightful area with a fabulous soundtrack

My great grandparents came from Cromer and the first sight I had of it was soaring the outskirts. That was a pretty moving experience - like different threads of my life weaving together. Thank you for your kind words.

The coastline has a huge sense of atmosphere about it. Maybe it's just a little less populated than further south. I enjoyed flying there. Good company too>

Is it an easy site? I'm pretty low airtime.

Not at all bad for a coastal site. Lots of sandy beach down below and no fear of stuff like rocks and high tides. Worth giving it a go.

I got there just after 12. a nice afternoon. Nice video, but music a little sad. It was a good day!

It was a good day and quite a nice long run. Wilder than our more southerly shores!
