@andyboss22 Yo dude! whatever re: which version is the best. a matter of personal preference. But the original version is by the Drifters. It was recorded in 1961 and was a top 20 hit in the US in the same year. The Cryin' Shames version is a 1966 cover version of the Drifters original.
