  • would a 5000mah be too heavy for this bird cause im looking at a couple of batts and the biggest on i found was the skylipo 5000mah20c 11.1 v batt so please reply nitroplanes

  • @kondakor1998 I wouldn't recommend getting the battery, it will throw off the CG. I would get a couple batteries that has the same specs as for the stock one and swap them out if needed at the field.

  • @nitroplanes ok thamk you very much

  • I was pleasantly surprised to learn my Diamond 2500 is actually a 2.6 meter (102") glider, not 2.5 meter (98"). I measured mine, plus 2.6 meter is what it says on the box and in the user manual. :-)

  • I recently bought one of these and the wing pins are so darn tight when installed. I luckily used your zip tie technique before hand and was barely able to get them out.

Oh, i forgot to mention the Rudder was smashed in shipping... I'm still waiting for replacement parts from you guys.

Also, two of the four canopy magnets were found floating in the box. Be careful not to lose them if they were not glued in correctly by the factory. keep an eye out for them when opening your box.

  • why do you advertise 3 cell stock batt when arttech website says rtf has 4 cell stock and same with esc you say 40a stock when real stock is 60a. and you even put 4 cell into plane, when you pull it out of plane and you look at side it has 4 cells. im not going to order until you start being honest.

  • @TheRoncopeel Banana hobby sells the 4 cell, more sporty version, with flap servos installed, while nitroplanes sells the 3 sell, non flapped version.

  • @RoboTekno yup banana sells the same one for about 50$ more, however dont expect the plane to last , their motors and esc are crap, and the complaints from the better buisness bearu are through the roof, up to you to throw away your money, stick with nitroplanes..

  • @tommygun152 Indeed. Contrary to my last post, the wing pins broke in over time and fit great now, I was able to receive a whole new fuselage from NitroPlanes when I only asked for a replacement rudder, and I was able to glue back my magnets with good old Gorilla Glue. Overall the Diamond is a good plane. Check out my maiden flight ww.youtube.c0m/watch?v=OLzAonSBpoU

  • I want to see this back in stock as a PNP or ARF :)

  • Finally I get to see your field and runway!

  • 3:32. Yeah, it's a very stable plane. Because it's a two and a half meter glider. LOL

  • what cameras are you using on it?

  • I have this plane? any one wanna buy it lolz

  • @pakcoders1 How much are you selling it for?

  • @pakcoders1 How much/

  • What camera are u using ? Any links to where it can be bought, great quality !!

  • i no its not in this vid but some vids you have the plane flying and you have u wit the controller at the same time how to u splice the footage like that? and what software do you use? please answer thanks

  • thank you fo the top video

  • Obviously i'm a little retarded here - but how can i get the black-carbon bonnet away? How is that thing attached? thanks.

  • @calmarcalmar ah ok magneti. so just pulling

  • What would be a good intermediate plane that is cheap $50-$130 and can be landed/take off in 30-75 ft????? PLZ HELP AND THX!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice vid Tony

  • Ok I know to most of u this will sound stupid but what are thermals?????..... Srry I fly rc heli's and am just starting in rc planes... Thx

  • @bigkdog363023 In case you havent gotten your answer yet, thermals are columns of warm, rising, air.

  • I know to most of u this will sound stupid but what are thermals???? ..... Srry I fly heli's and am just starting in rc planes.... Thx

  • wow..this is so cool....

i would like to know if i want to buy this

are you can ship this thing to Malaysia?

  • Very graceful flight.

  • @catfishmudflap Thanks

    -Tony

  • Do you plan on carrying this in a receiver ready version?

  • @JC0926 The second batch should be receiver ready

    -Tony

  • When I looked up the Diamond 2500 it said the ESC was 60A. But the one from nitroplanes is 40A. Not sure if there is two different versions. But anyhow I plan on getting a Diamond 2500./

  • @tjmady The version that we carry at Nitroplanes is the 40A ESC with a 3cell lipo. The 60A version comes with a 4cell lipo, but that version will cost way more. The 3cell setup flies just fine the way it is.

  • excelente Velero radiocontrolado con motor electrico...... Que maravilla, como vuela ese avion.

Muy logrado tanto el vuelo como la grabacion de video.

Enhorabuena y un saludo desde España

  • nice plane

  • @LTF85199 flies great too

  • just because "it is not hot" does not always mean that there is no thermals

  • @TheRCPlanes True, but there is nothing to catch that day :)

    -Tony

  • Nice Glider Tony, what size motor does it come with?

  • @sparky0308 Thanks. I'm not sure on the actual size of the motor but it looks to be around a 10 size.

    -Tony

  • Why is your name nitro planes? I haven't seem many gas planes

  • @bakonlicious The website's name is nitroplanes. Tony is just a test pilot and review person. He is pretty cool, but that name isn't his.

  • @hasm0ney he is talking about the website

  • @bakonlicious Sounds better than "battery operated styrofoam planes".

  • @jauchiu lol

    -Tony

  • @bakonlicious they have ALOT of gas planes probably more than electric, they just dont do video reviews on their gas planes but u can look them up on there website !

  • @bakonlicious We have nitro and gas planes on our website. I just don't review them.. well because they take up a lot more time to build and setup

    -Tony

  • @bakonlicious

once apon a time they sold alot of nitro planes but since have moved into eletric planes

  • Muy loco! I like this plane

  • @laomoraes I like it too

    -Tony

  • Hi Can you give us a quick overview/vid of the camms that you use plus any that might be out there that you recommend - Thnx

  • @jonnythecroww The ArtTech Diamond 2500 is a big plane so almost any camera under 6-8 onces will work. Just find an area to mount the camera and your good to go. Just a tip: make sure the CG is still correct before you fly. I learned the hard way once haha

    -Tony

  • Excellent review and glider!! Smooth gliding-I love it! I will price this bird out!

    Thanks Tony

    5/5

  • @99minerkc Thanks man!

    -Tony

  • That is a really nice one! Like it a lot.

  • @MarcSchrewe Thanks

    -Tony

  • make it into a UAV!!!

  • @gymfreak0 great idea!!

  • @gymfreak0 it is a UAV dumbass, does ''Unmanned aerial vehicle'' mean anything to you?

  • @steam4o i ment like cameras on it. more like a F.P.V. because it is so quiet

  • @gymfreak0 oh. got your point, you could make it into fpv yourself and add an gps cordinator ;)

  • @steam4o wrong a UAV flies it self all the operator does is send it GPS locations and play with a camera

  • @hyper080 so you meean that a UFO must be a flying saucer? it is still Undentified Flying Objekt

like an UAV is an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle..

  • @steam4o to be unmanned it needs to fly with no human help

  • @hyper080

Not really. A UAV is anything which is flying without being manned. Even toy helicopters and planes can be called 'UAVs' so long as they are being remotely piloted. However, most things classed as a UAV will be able to self-pilot and navigate themselves.

  • @Insomniac535 to be unmanned it needs to fly with no help, an rc plane is remote operated,

to be a true UAV there has to be no humans invoived

  • @hyper080

I suppose you can view it that way. I still feel that unless there's a person *onboard*, it is unmanned. Eg a 'manned test' of a new aircraft prototype means there was a pilot onboard. While unmanned tests can still have someone controlling directly via radio link. Though I agree that UAV pretty much always implys autonomous operation.

I suppose we ought to agree to disagree... ;)

  • also i forgot to say there is still a man at the controls

  • @gymfreak0 go to the website they have tons of nitro powered planes and helis

  • @gymfreak0 UAV's is too fancy for me. Don't want to get in trouble by the feds now lol

    -Tony
