My mother lost her Life to ALS. She was never sick in her life. She was diagnosed at age 75. She was living in Florida with my dad. University of Florida was really good to her. She made a little over three years. She passed away at home. Her lunges got tired and she just feel asleep. I know there are other forms that are more painful or uncomfortable. For some reason, she always way smiling with this ALS. God bless my Mother.
Thank you for talking about your experience, equipment & hopes. I work with people who have been diagnosed. It is so helpful for PALS (people with ALS) to share their experience, it helps educated others. Bless you & best of luck on your journey.
