A bit late, but the way you approach Thanksgiving depends on the fellow company. If it's friends/close family you're comfortable around, it's pretty laid-back. I'd be interested to hear how that went!
I've noticed that when I meet new people, especially guys (I am a girl), my first impression is almost always WRONG. Based on that, I'm very concious about my first impressions.
1. Unfriendly 2. Hostile/serious 3. Sporty/friendly 4. Nerdy 5. Life-of-the-party type 6. Intelligent 7. Very serious/antisocial 8. Quiet 9. Stand-off ish 10. Charismatic. Gosh, it's so weird how differently you can perceive the same person so differently just because their clothes/demeanor looks different.
For me thanksgiving was always about making a lot of paper decorations and eating a /lot/
1. kind of scary 2. very serious, business 3. fun loving, loud, a little wild 4. nerd <3 cute 5. lol just walk away 6. relaxed, normal guy 7. church man, strict 8. runner, athletic 9. thug, jerk 10.LOL Hasselhoff Yeah, first impressions make a big difference, but unless they're REALLY bad, people usually have opportunities to either live up to or change those impressions. Happy Thanksgiving :D In my family, we always dress up. But other than that, just eat yourself silly!!!!
I have only ever seen your 13LB video before, so this should be fun! 1 Gamer boy who hasn't washed his hair in awhile. 2 Seems kind of stuck up with a "I'm better than you" face. 3 Looks like a nice guy; a fun guy to be around. 4 Aww what a sweet heart. 5 Baha all I can think of is "How YOU doin'?" 6 Seems like a college student; all around good guy. 7 Professional business man, but seems nice if not too serious. 8 Seems vaguely unfriendly. 9 Douche bag. Sorry. 10 Thinks very highly of himself.
My first impressions are generally correct, so I pay attention when I meet people, but I try not to let those impressions negatively bias me.
Examples:
1&2. Tightness around your mouth and eyes puts me off, you look quite uncomfortable(crossed arms seem like you feel insecure and want some protection)
3. Much better, not so uptight, fairly relaxed.. I like that you're looking straight at us, & that mini-smile suggests a happier person :)
Thanksgiving - show up, dress kind of nice, no suit and tie necessary, but maybe look like you would if you were going out on a date. Other than that you enjoy the company and the food. My favorite holiday of the year here in the States, because its truly about friends, family, food, and fun - no pressure to produce gifts... its great.

In the third picture you look kinda sporty, the forth is obviously nerdy. In general for all of them I have the impression that you are very serious a lot of the time because your biggest smile is in the sixth photo . . . and it's not really that big xP
I do think first impressions are highly important. Whether we are right or wrong, we are always going to judge somebody based on what we see. Body language is most important when I am meeting somebody for the first time. And have fun with your first thanksgiving. :)
1st picture you seem very unapproachable and moody. 2nd: You have La Roux hair but you look snazzy in the suit. 3rd: Nothing really comes to mind. 4th: Intellectual and reserved. 5th: Womanizer 6th: What a nice guy 7th: is the same as number four 8th: You don't look pleased at all, so I would probably think you were a jerk or something 9th: You are so hood. 10th: Would have to depend on where I was seeing you.
If it's a first impression of someone I have to spend time with I usually end up doing one of two things, either that impression gets knocked away after getting to know them a bit or I stick them in that impression for a while because it makes life easier (definitely not consciously). Eventually, if those first impressions are wrong, they're generally broken and I do get to know the person better; last time this happened I ended up getting along really well with the girl.
I'm confused with people most of the time so i rarely have first impressions.
I get to know a person after a while.

2. Serious, and hardworking.
3. Friendly, talkative, kind and just all around a good sport.
4. Quiet, and shy.
5. Creepy. Just creepy.
6. Nice, causal guy to talk to.
7. A scary, scary teacher, the kind the kids hate.
8. Normal person on a cold day.
9. Um, just a little bit scared of you.
10. HIPPY! No, joking, but you're out there and crazy!

3: Soccer? Rugby? Casual guy.
4: Slouchy. Meh. Tired. Teen.
5: You're just posing for the camera now. "Yeah, I'm 6'3. Hair counts!"
6: Aw. Hug-able. Be my friend?
7: GOOD hair. Suit & no tie = good. I'd trust you.
8: Like the jacket zipped up.
9: Avoid in a dark alley. Creeper!
10: Rumpled shirt & half buttoned? I can't take you seriously or stop laughing! It looks like the morning after.
