i think this video was more on effects, then an tutorial. I really still dot get it after watching this. all we watched was you making a bunch of effects and putting them into a video. next time get sraight to the point, and all those effects are not nessesary.

I would also like to know too (how did you learn?).
I just got an iMac, FCE HD & starting to go thru the book "Final Cut Express HD Digital Video Editing for Everyone" by Weynand. It has actual hands on lessons with provided video, audio, etc. It teaches the basics & might be worth looking into.
Still these tips are neat.

Um... I have a wireless, ergonomic keyboard for my iMac.... that button will manually place a marker but will not keep a record of the beats (as shown in your video). Is there another way of doing this without the shortcut keyboard method? btw, thank you for posting these tutorials, I really do enjoy them.
