i like ford ranger and all but i think they messed up the stx with the mazda b series tailights i think the original ford ranger tailights would have looked better also if the truck had a complete body hit with side skirts and rear bumper im not against the ones who own a ranger like this one its just my opinion

Yea I have a Blue 2007 Ford ranger STX with jus the K&N air filter, its got the 3.0L V6. it tops at like 95 mph. how did u get ur's 2 do 140+? jus wonderin. i wish i knew how 2 get rid of the stupid governor.

man i love rangers but im not a big fan of this trim lvl it looks like ford bought the front bumper from auto zone and the bed came from the mazda-b so i bought an XLT

Mazda B series and ford ranger are the EXACT same trucks. So yes, the beds do match.

The Mazda B series 2300 is a ford ranger 2.3 liter, the Mazda 4000 is the ford 4.0 V6. etc.

the stx has the mazda bed other than than that ford and mazda beds are different.

@3wheeler016 yes you are correct. the mazda truck is built at the same plant in minnesota. well use to be. now m,azda isnt part of ford anymore. and obsivosouly the twin city plant stoped making the b2,b3, b4000

I have one too, sucks the factory has to put the governer to slow you down when you know theres more juice to go faster.

I have the exact same kind of truck; wheels in all, but mine is not extended, it a 2 seater and its manual. And i recently pierced a hole in the radiator, and i bought a New Radiator...but wen i make comparison with the old one and new one, they both look exact, but they're r 2 extra holes, on only one side, in the new Radiator, which i do not know wat they r for??? Any one HELP

I HAVE BUY MY BUMPER STX FOR MY ranger edge and that's not very expennsive the bumper are 175$ and the lower plastic is 204$ but the foglamp and the black plastic cost 300$ LOL ,anyway I think the flareside whit this bumper can make a good truck

Yeah i just put on my K&N intake on my ford ranger 4.0L and it kicks ass i felt the diffence right when i installed i recommend it!

I think u can change your speed limiter if you go to your ford dealer they should be able to hook up the scanner and change it no other place can but ford
