If a "love" is against morals, responsibility, and hurts others, then it's not love, but lust. It only looks like love. This is esp. true in the case of adultery, no matter what the reason.

Paris IS my favourite character. Always have been.

I always have been fascinated by his role in the mythology and i liked the way Orlando Bloom played him in the movie. Even know if everyone think that he is a coward and that he is the reason all of this happened, i do understand the man and his choices.

Interesting song choice, but it works quite well, I got to say. I watched the movie on TV recently, and didn't like it, as to me it seemed pretty "silly". The only guy I liked was Hector, and the leader of Achilles' troops. I really hated Achilles, though.

I definitly agree about the character Paris being selfish! But I can't blame him for killing Achilles. a) the actual Achilles - Briseis story is ENTIRELY different in the Iliad and b) Achilles killed his BROTHER. And not only was Hector his brother but he was pretty much the future and strength of Troy as well as the perfect man.
