@RSTrill It is not a terrible sport. These horses love to jump. We've had horses who liked to jump, others liked to run barrels, some just liked to roll in the grass haha. Most injuries are to the riders. And...you can't make a horse jump - you can try if you want:)

People at this level have the right training as do the horses. Accidents still happen and people still get hurt, but most of the time you come out okay.

The thrill, the power, the fun, everything involved in this sport makes it worthwhile. It's not a 'terrible' sport, it's a sport you don't understand.
