I would like to put in a sound system for a high school baseball field. What specs would you suggest for a decent sound and loudness but a good price?
he mm great vid i did stuf on school like that i used ther system i needet to carry 2 12 " tops and a 15 or 18 " sub up som stairs so gdmn havy now i got my own gear from DAP audio and a amp from american audio i got 2 mc-12 and 2mc-15but need to get 2 15" drivers and a amp but my other amp and EQ are in a 8he case
Hey MM, another quick question that I am too lazy to find an answer too. About how much does one of those 13FT tripods cost? I do a lot of car shows and are looking into some 12" speakers but I need some tall tripods for them. Thanks!
you really get good mileage out of those ramsas dont you? i have a pair from back in the days that are just collecting dust in the garage for the last 4 years at least. i remember it being a good speaker back in my pa days. what u pushing it with????
They work and Sound GREAT I always look for used ones to add to my system I have 6 -12" ad 2- 4" I need a few 8" i SOLD THEM WAY BACK BUT iM KICKING MYSELF NOW
That looked like a blast... great setup. LOVE the 13ft Tripods WOW. I've never seen that before. Great crowd, sweet gig... Text 2 Screen would've been great at this event.
Hey MM, How did you go with the speakers up so high with wind or was it a calm day? did you strap them down at all so they couldnt fall over? When I do outside gigs I either use ratchet straps to poles or try and get a few lead bags on each leg to ensure they wont fall. so just wondering on your thoughts and ideas
It was windy but the tripods are steel almost 100 lbs each so they are very stable ... I just kept an eye on them and I had no issues but if it got crazy I would have lowered and or straped them down
As you saw I brought a few mats to keep the mess down I only needed to use 1 but I had 3 more if I needed them I think they were $10 at harbor fright they come in handy for dirt anf to hold wires down through door ways
Before this event, did u ever use 13' speaker poles??? The opening graphic and the graphic during the video were sweeeeeeeeeeeet!!! and i gotta give props to the shirts and the marketing, well done!!!
any ideas how to see my laptop when the sun is shining. I had to play outdoors by a pool today-client said they would provide a covering but didn't. I could not make out anything on my laptop screen at all-ended up running my ipod-set & forget method-very frustrating-is there anything I can do to fix the problem?
I always bring an easy up in the trailer if needed but I would bring a small black plastic board that you can fold and tape to the screen and make like a sun viser to see better ...Its a tough one!!!
Im running QSCRMX 2450 Xover to them so about 500 wats at 8 ohms of Highs going to the tops but I had 3 speakers so it was running a very low ohm load so probily about `1000 w to the top from the amp or something like that...I had to keep a close eye on it ...Its a prity stable amp so I went for it
U should try video mixing next it works great and gives an awsome visual effect

@harlanzip Are you going to be running music? If you're just doing PA use, a regular horn setup will work. If not, it depends on your crowd size.
