@juanooooooooflame They are held in by the wheels and the brake caliper. You remove the wheel, and the caliper removes by some bolts on the back. My car required an allen type socket. Then you just smack the rotor with a hammer to loosen it up so you can pull it off. If you are going to throw out the old rotor you don't need to be too careful, just don't smack stuff that you aren't replacing. On this car looks like there are some screws holding the rotor as well.
You're stupid. If you want to remove the hubnut, you leave the TIRE AND WHEEL ON, and you leave the car ON THE GROUND. For the FRICTION! Don't you know ANYTHING??? Then, when you LOOSEN the hubnut, only then do you jack the car up and remove the tire.
I put rotors on the same car and I had to use a large puller and heat the rotor with the oxy acetylene torch to get it to come loose. The rotors actually bent some while removing them. They were already warped, so it didn't matter.
Sometimes the easiest projects can become very difficult and time consuming from rusted parts.
Oh, road course racing is not about speed, and if I need power... I would save up for a turbocharged Toyota engine or something... I would prefer a Honda engine that is really fast, but those things will make holes in my wallet...
i was kind of annoyed since i couldnt find a music track that would go with the video. it would have been better with a music track and the video audio muted.
No point on this video :S

Really no point in posting the video if you can't stand to watch it. Too fast to be viewed admirably.

Sorry but it really wasnt meant as a how to video.
If you need to know how to replace parts on your car you should look up a haynes manual. Lots of info in those manuals about the car.

I got a kick out of the video in 8x normal mode.

... that is some tiny ass brakes...

doesn't take much to stop such a lightweight vehicle

Eh, I was contemplating fitting a Metro with nice suspension and brakes and use it for racing.
monkeyboy866 3 years ago
well if your going to be racing, brakes is the first to upgrade.
since in racing there can be situations that you would need a sudden stop and i thing stock brakes would overheat in a race track.
i always wanted to know how much HP can be squeezed out of a 1.0l 3cyl. lol

wow i can change all 4 brakes on my car rotors and all in less than 30 mins. Took him 41 mins to change 1 break
kcjackass2k3 3 years ago
well the last time he changed one was in the 2002 for a van.
For the van he had to remove the big bolt but not on the geo metro took him a while to figure that out. lol

You should of used some Benny Hill =P
Looks easy enough, Im thinking of adding cross drilled rotors to my buick but Im lazy.
