  • Great work !

I will recomand you the increase the pace at the chorus that (is equal to "don't you remember you told me ...") to get more contrast in the song.

  • @blue9z - Not with a drum machine. I rather like it as is...

  • really amazing

  • Amazing. Stylistically speaking this sounds remarkably similar to the great obscure mystery instrumental group The Blue Stingrays. Simply incredible.

  • Clean and clear.. Love it..

  • Your Strat seems a '67 more than a '68...looking at Logo!

Anyway...beautiful guitar. And very cool playing.

  • Beautiful rendition..........love this style............thank you very much for posting this tune .....Can I purchase your Backing Track?...I like that you didn't jazz it up......JUST GREAT !

    I love all your videos......

  • oh man! what a great tune and a great rendition...this song gets me everytime...thankyou

  • Good good job...sweet playing!

Is your Strat a Japan model, right?

  • @plexisound - Sure enough. This thing weighs about ten pounds but has a sweet tone.

  • GREAT guitar work,Sam!!!Amazing Stratocaster sound&efects*****

  • such a haunting song..ever the more poignant with her passing...love the strat sound and chimes, though I almost alwys prefer a telecaster, or a mosrite!thanks again, mister..

  • At 20 guitars I can see where it's kinda hard to play 'em all. Many think the Carpenters are kinda' cheesy but I always thought they were damn good. Nice.

  • My co-worker and I just watched and agree w/you comment on KC. By the way, was this at regular speed ?

  • I'm not sure what you mean by regular speed but I programmed the drums, recorded the additional guitars and video taped it and played my part at regular speed. Thanks for your comment!

  • I wanted to add that I know the tempo is on the slow side but I think it adds to the 'dreaminess' of it.

  • MTG that is just a tasty arrangement of the Carpenters if I must say. I can't agree more she is just a stellar vocalist and my favoured as well. Nice Job Man.

  • Thank you, Stephen and to the other folks who took a few moments to share their thoughts; I appreciate it.

  • wonderful

  • Hi, great work. Where did you get the backing track.

  • I made it.

  • Love the use of the trem on this, gives the song a whole new flavor. Kudos!

  • I really need to use my Strat more. Thank you for the time you and other folks have taken to comment.

  • I didn't know you had a Strat!! Hmmm maybe I'll have one too soon! Hey this is cool-I liked Karen a lot too-maybe not favorite but a lot!

Like you said-you can never have too many guitars! And this is another one of your great collection. You and Solo-man!!

  • Great execution.

  • Can't speak for anyone else but I like it. Any chance of getting your backing track?

  • Simply Beautiful.

  • Thank you and to all the folks who took a few moments to comment, I appreciate it.

  • the original is played in a different key. It doesn't really matter...i just wondered if u played it in this key because it fit better for guitar.

  • By the way, which guitars do you posses? You must have a wonderfull collection.

  • No matter if it is as vissible as the other video. The song is played great, and thats what matters.
