@meishern Definitely. Apparently it's a pretty hard job keeping him on schedule and not just spending all his time talking with fans. He' may be the most polite and friendly of the A-list celebrities still alive. (I'd put Jimmy Stewart in the top slot, alive or dead).

this guy is great. Seriously to think that a lot of actors are considerd nice if they even sign. He's told to go in but he just makes an effort to give the fans what they want even though he owes them nothing. He even thanks some crazy nut for giving him an envelope probably full of anthrax. I mean how many actors would just pretend they didn't even notice people like that and yet Cruise remains a nice cool guy the whole time.

I think it's about the photos/posters, they are handling to him for autographs. One of the guys gives him a photo/poster, that Tom has never seen. I can't hear clearly the guy's answer, though...

He seems like he has a nice personality. All that attention has to get on your nerves and he's being a great sport about it.

@WhoDareWatch Oh definitely. Whatever you may think of the whole scientology thing, the man is undeniably VERY good to his fans. He's known to often make himself late to appointments and screenings because he tries to sign every photo that anyone asks him to sign.

In fact, at the screening to MI:3, a teenage girl told him her mom was a huge fan but couldn't make it to the screening, so he asked the girl for her cell phone, called her mom, and chatted with her for 10 minutes right there.

People don't like Cruise because he's trapped in Scientology. He's a weak man, taken in by a silly cult, even if he projects strength in many of his roles.
