Metallica came before slayer too...hmm Metallica started forming in '81 and put out Kill em all in '83 same with slayer. But slayer wasnt famous until '86 with Reign in Blood. Metallica was the first to get noticed for Thrash. Megadeth didnt even form until '83 So Metallica and Thrash had already been dicovered by the time Megadeth and Slayer were also getting famous for it.
