Allah speaks about two types of Hadith in the Quran, He speaks about one type of Hadith which 'deviates people' (31:6), and another type which talks about the Truth (79:15, etc).

You mix two different things, after the revelations, Holy Prophet(saww) use to ask anything other than Quranic verses. The first Hadith book was compiled by a companion of Hazrat Ali(as), the more known book is Muttah Imam Malik,who was born in the times of second Caliph, and that he collected Hadith along with some other Scholars. which was in 70s to 80s AH. The Hadith which you refer written 200 yrs after Prophet(saww) were compilations of Hadith by Imam Bukari, Imam Muslim, Imam Hanbal

Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) teached The Quran verses, but also His explanations, actions and sayings are recorded by witnesses (His family and companions etc), which is called a Hadith. What would have prophet told us to have it as our entire belief set for success, had we been living in those 23 years.
Answer:Follow prophet experience as the last messenger for all.
Everything else considered as essential, article of faith, requirement to be successful after demise, is a deviant path, regardless of any factor, no matter how serious, no matter how heart breaking, no matter who is saying that, no matter what book.
Let us unite to please Allah only, earn reward from Allah only.
Details become irrelevant if the what is not not the scope of the 23 years exclusive message of Islam is ruled out at the high level.

Allah will hold us accountable for the deliverables over those 23 years only and nobody can say to Allah after death that my belief set is partly rooted in what evolved after the prophet's demise as the last messenger.
Allah will not accept if you tell him that DCI & AIS (Divinely Connected Infallible & All Knowing Imam Stations) which the prophet did not experience as the last messenger in those 23 years is also my belief set.
The final requirement to pass as Muslim and be rewarded after demise is sealed in a BOX with the entire scope or the range of message defined over those 23 years.
Any range of belief set (pillar) out side the 23 year prohpet's time domain as the last messanger is a singularity or not acceptable to Allah.
Allah does not need another infallible being like him to ensure a perfect product. Allah's infallibility is sufficient to produce a perfect product, Islam, which constitutes a range of deliverables by Allah (23 year revelation referred to as Al Quran)& 23 years prophets walk of Quran as the last messenger.
What is the belief set to be successful after demise is explicitly commanded in Quran. The belief set required to be successful constitutes ultimate guidance.
If the project manager starts spending millions, start hiring without receiving written authorization from sponsor, he gets fired. He cannot say, he said or she said and she or he is in the board of directors. Quran is like the charter of approval. It must be explicitly there if it is the fundamental requirement for success after demise

We are not under obligation to accept any thing with loop holes, like all reaching one source only, weaker personality etc; Nonetheless, Quran has the first right to over rule any historical information. 23 years requirement alone is sufficient to rule out and define the message of Islam.
23 years is like FULL STOP and the only requirement to be successful for us. 23 years was also the requirement for success who existed & saw the prophet as Muslims.
Humans makes plan, sometimes they come across unexpected, do not anticipate certain acts by other, and miss on the contingency plan . This is a human, a learning opportunity & lesson for humans. Humans cannot be infallible. Nonetheless, prophet never intentionally made a mistake. Allah protected
We should be focusing on the same tenets, belief set, which the prophet dealt with, talked to, role modeled, in his life to reinforce our belief set, not different from that.
Our object is only to die a Muslim with the same belief set possessed by those who died Muslim in the presence of the prohpet s.a.a.s
How can something that the prohpet did not even experience & built on, become the belief set who came later after those 23 years.
The entire range of the content of the message of Islam was defined in those 23 years for the prophet as the last messenger, for all values of t over t-40, with start of the message at 40 and termination of the message at 63.
This is how it was defined in those 23 years and it cannot change.
Any range of content not defined over t-40 is not the message of Islam for the prophet s.a.a.s as the last messenger. This cannot be different for any one who existed later time domains.
We must do things to please Allah & earn rewards even if there is no appreciation. We must respond to any thing undesirable to our hearts, keeping the sole reason of our existence in mind. We should not judge anyone who cannot come back and defend himself. We should leave matters not in our control including our own destiny & salvation to Allah.
As long as we believe in at least & at most the fundamentals, authentic & irrefutable information, from those 23 years, and do not dare to attribute any quality to any individual or object, REGARDLESS,that belongs to exclusively Allah, we are okay.
Also, the message of Islam has real value for us, if we recognize, that the sole purpose of the creation of JINNS & us is WORSHIP.

The compilation of Hadith is a speciality in theology of Islam, which is known as Ilm ul Hadith, it further has sub branches. As made clear by lostprophet786, any hadith contradicting is checked and deemed incorrect, and the scholars of Hadith circulate it among scholars and then dropped if the scholars find it contradicting.

No problem, and you don't need to apologize, you are a Lady and please behave like one. For your futile debate, let me conclude it. The word of Allah(Holy Quran) didn't come in a package deal. It was revealed to Muhammad(saww) by the Angel in revelations in verses not as a Book. The Prophet is the one who told us that these verses are revealed and in some other revelations only orders were delivered regarding other matters. So Shadah requires the Importance of messenger to be Acknowledged.

And there are many more times in the Quran where Allah explicitly uses the term 'Hadeeth'

Allah speaks about two types of Hadith in the Quran, He speaks about one type of Hadith which 'deviates people' (31:6), and another type which talks about the Truth (79:15, etc).
Unfortunately you have fallen under the impression that Allah has forbidden ALL type of Hadith, which is wrong as Allah asks us if we have heard the Hadith of Musa (etc.)!
The Hadiths of the Shia did not come about 250 years after the Prophets death. They were written during his (saw) lifetime.

Hadiths are secondary, Quran is primary. The Quran is the criterion with which you judge the validity of a Hadith. If the Hadith contradicts the ethos of the Quran then the Hadith is deemed incorrect.
Anyone who takes Hadith ALONE as truth WITHOUT the support of the Quran, has deviated. This is the view of the Shia School of Thought.

You mix two different things, after the revelations, Holy Prophet(saww) use to ask anything other than Quranic verses. The first Hadith book was compiled by a companion of Hazrat Ali(as), the more known book is Muttah Imam Malik,who was born in the times of second Caliph, and that he collected Hadith along with some other Scholars. which was in 70s to 80s AH. The Hadith which you refer written 200 yrs after Prophet(saww) were compilations of Hadith by Imam Bukari, Imam Muslim, Imam Hanbal

Allah ordered in Quran to offer Prayers, who told you how to pray and when and how many times in a day. similarly zakat, who told the details of zakat not mentioned in Quran, Fasting is mentioned, but when to fast, how to fast, what is permitted/forbidden during fast/ Hajj: where is it mentioned in Quran the number of rounds around Kaaba. Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) teached The Quran verses, but also His explanations, actions and sayings are recorded by witnesses (His family and companions etc), which is called a Hadith. We take the principles of such a hadiths which are not harm (haram) to us, but actually halal and are not contradiction with Holy Quran.

Prophet's experience as the last messenger in those 23 years is the end of the story.
Rest may constitute the history of Islam.
History of Islam and the original 23 years content belong to two different domains of time.
The former belongs to the domain of time in which which the prophet experienced revelations & walked.
The later belongs to time domain in which the prophet did not experience & did not walk the Quran.

We are only under obligation to accept only the IRREFUTABLE S that have passed humanly possible strictest criteria. We are not under obligation to accept any thing with loop holes, like all reaching one source only, weaker personality etc; Nonetheless, Quran has the first right to over rule any historical information. 23 years requirement alone is sufficient to rule out and define the message of Islam.

The entire range of the content of the message of Islam was defined in those 23 years for the prophet as the last messenger, for all values of t over t-40, with start of the message at 40 and termination of the message at 63.
This is how it was defined in those 23 years and it cannot change.
Any range of content not defined over t-40 is not the message of Islam for the prophet s.a.a.s as the last messenger. This cannot be different for any one who existed later time domains.

Who ever said that Shias worship Imam Ali? Shias believe that only Allah has the right to choose a representative for Islam, therefore no one else has a choice in the matter. This means that God's representatives like Prophets and Imāms cannot be elected by common Muslims, which is why we disagree with the election and selection of Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman by the people, to represent Islam. We believe Muhammad appointed Ali as his successor at Ghadir Khumm.
