"Tajik"s? What is "tajik", it is the utopia of Russians just like "uzbek". Turks came to Central Asia (at least 2000 yrs ago) they had their own unique alphabet and mastered metal processing. You knew nothing but running after sheeps with a stick at that time. Turks built cities and empires on this land, which then rightfully started to be called as "Turkistan". Take any valuable historical building in CA, they are all built by Turkic emperors.
That is very interesting indeed. Dare I remind you that when Russians came to Central Asia, it was ruled by a khan of Kokand from Ming Uzbek clan, khan of Khiva from Qonghirat Uzbek clan, and emir of Bukhara from Manghit Uzbek clan. And before them it was ruled by Uzbek khans from Shaybani dynasty. And before that it was ruled by Turkic Timurids who kick the Mongols out, and before that Turkic Shahs of Khwarezm, and before that by Turkic Karakhanids.
Of course there were also Tajik Samanids.
