Why dont the Scots push for what the Shetlanders want and that is independance from Scotland, but no they go stum on that one.

Well I am not going stum on this one. Unfortunately, it is not yet within the Scottish Parliament's power to grant this. Shetland is, like Scotland, still part of the UK and Westminster is doing all it can to hold on to us never mind let power go the islands off the coast. How the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands ever got away from Westminster is beyond me except of course as tax havens! But I see nothing wrong with Shetland similarly going independent if it voted for it.

I do, Shetland was stolen from the picts by norse men.

The nose murdered women and children and farmers kept some women to rape and force children upon and some took them to far away land in the fairo isles and iceland and even back to norway.

The island belong to modern day scots, and if you dont like it.
