I remember in 1994 and 1995 i use to get up around 8am to watch tv and sometimes it would cut off and the test card f would come on brings back memories lol

Yes and no. Techically BBC 1 does shutdown and then BBC News 24(or whatever its called now)starts until Breakfast. There is no break in transmission. However on this night there was and I was shocked. I quickly reached for my phone and recorded it. It was not on digital however. I went into the front room to record it on Sky+ but BBC digi was showing News 24 only on analogue did this card come up.

I have a video of Test Card J when it was on overnight in January 2006 on both BBC1 and BBC2.

These were indeed accompanied by a female voice telling the time!

I seen this lol as well. I recorded it. All I remember hearing was something like, 2.34 and 40 seconds . . . . . 5th of January 2007 lol
