outriggers? its equiped with a stiff leg but no riggers its not a spinner or rotator so no outriggers, If the operator had tied off with snatch blocks to the body rings on the rear it would have just slid the truck but he shouldnt have needed leverage seeing that he was already lifting with bags. all in all probably didnt hurt much accept his pride and he will always check the brakes and maybe even chain a wheel from now on.

I operated wreckers and all the ones I operated had out-rigger systems besides setting the airbrakes. You have to know were to park your recovery vehicle, use snatch blocks to multiply your mechanical advantage. You do all that and you won't have videos like this!!!!!!

ive seen this before from rookie towers its unfortunate that he probly got fired for this when the rest of the recovery was spot on. oh by the way that doesnt usally do that much damage to the truck most likly no more than 10-15k worth of damage which is a whole lot better than 500-700k for a new truck.this comes down to planning 3-4 steps ahead and unfortunetly in this business if you dont things get broke and people get dead.
