Loken Incapacitated him in the loken throne in Storm Peaks, he was obviously dragged to Ulduar with a faint memory and revived by Yogg Saron.

All of the keepers are corrupted by yogg-Saron. The only way to revive them is to fight and survive.

Loken or a corrupt Keeper. He took Thorim To Yogg Saron. An old god. Who also Corrupted him. He also Took Veranus. Thorim's drake, and made it into razorscale.

ok we had a hard time in arena what do we need in arena

this entire encounter is a gear check for your entire raid. AOE healers and AOE DPS should be in the arena. AOE the adds down as often as possible but you will need to focus dps down the more dangerous ones (rune evokers and champions must be focus killed quickly). a focus healer, a tank, and two focus dps are all you need for the gauntlet. If they keep the pace up and don't die they will get through the hall as quickly as possible without activating hardmode. Thorium himself is ezmode.

in 10 man we normally go with about 1 healer who can aoe heal such as a druid or shaman. in 25 man we used too holy paladins, (one being me) very easy to clear if u used ranged dps/casters. We went with 1 hunter and 2 mages, and 2 warlocks as our dps inside. Went quick and fast. One tank as well. We used our warrior tank becuz he was the most familiar with tanking the gauntlet.

Would anyone considering adding a note in the video mentioning the Stormhammer's Deafening Thunder DOES NOT silence. It only increases cast time by 75%. The Commoner adds do a Pummel that interrupts and silences.

Because of this video, my GL/RL insists the Stormhammer silences and caused an incident with a guildie over it he tried to correct her.

Can anyone confirm the fact that the player nearest to thorim gets automatic aggro of the adds? I've seen this posted on EJ, but have not seen it anywhere on tankspot which makes me doubt its authenticity. Any other tips would also be nice :P

Arena composition: Frost DK tank (me)

DPS: arcane mage, rogue, ret pally, warlock. 2x holy priests for heals.

Hallway: Warrior tank, Pally healer, Ele shammy and a hunter.

One of the most important thing about arena encounter is this. Quoted from EJ forum:

"Part of the mechanic for the area fight is that the person closest to Thorim gets automatic aggro of adds. As tank try standing on the part of the circle closest to Thorim and have the healers and DPS stand on the other side of the circle, farthest from Thorim."

druids are different then other tanks, because they get less armor from there leather items they have to avoid being hit altogether. so they stack up lots and lots of dodge and when they get hit lots and lots of stam. they also benefit fro there own crits so its best to stack agi

This is not true.

Druids have more armor than other tanks because they gain armor from bear form. Druids take more hits than other tanks actually, since they cant block, or parry.

Good druids stack agility, as it increases dodge, attack power, critical strike chance and armor. They also stack stamina like all other tanks.

Any tank can get crittable from unbalancing strike. Even if the "6% not crittable" is talent for druids you can get crittable if your base defense (400 at 80) is lowered. But dont ask me if druid can stack resi gear for 6% and take more unbalance strikes.. ;)

Yes it does. It will decrease your defense by 200... That means that your BASE defense of 400 will go down to 200... so unless your 200 def over the cap (which is like 800+rating EXTRA) then it matters.

Dominos for the bars, Pitbull for the UnitFrames, Grid fro the Raid Frames, Omen for threat, ArcHUD (or a similar HUD mod) for the curvy health bars, Parrot for the combat text, Satrinas Buff Frames (I think) for the buffs.
