Could you possible give us some information on how you approached this project? Did you start with generating the graphics and then tried to make a song around the resulting sounds?

@Telamandil Yes, that is pretty much exactly what I did. I generated wave files for the cube and the letters, and loaded them up in my composing software. I also played around with different waveforms and filters while composing, to get different effects. I had a second window open which displayed the result in real time so I could see what I was doing, as well as hear it. The project took me just a weekend, but I think it should be possible to create more intricate stuff if you spend more time.
