Mission accomplished. Like with True Blood they are addicted to V, and in Twilight it is love, the song can be left open for the mind to decide.
This is well done, but I think this song is more about losing someone you love or unrequited love so I'm not sure I see the Twilight connection. But still a nice vid.

I think the song is more about intoxication--not from alcohol but by somebody's presence or personality. Actually, it truly does fit the Twilight series because that's what it's all about: a relationship of unfathomable attraction. I think the song is more about intoxication--not from alcohol but by somebody's presence or personality. Actually, it truly does fit the Twilight series because that's what it's all about: a relationship of unfathomable attraction. Something that just IS--not knowing why or how, just an undeniable obsession.
The first part of the song is about seduction, then the rest about reluctant obsession which is irrevocably addictive.
The singer is talking about something that's intangible physically.

Strange you say that cause I spoke to Lzzy on this, she said doing this would rock... so is the band not telling me that they really hate twilight? I know they were trying to get this song on one of the soundtracks for twilight... Either way Lzzy said she liked it :)

@gothicfoxgairl Hey everyone's entitled to their opinion. As a writer and fan of romances, as well as having been in a few relationships myself, I'm not too fond of Twilight. The romance is shallow as it's never shown but told by Ed and Bella saying it constantly, rather than interacting and getting to know each other like other fictional couples. I C Y girls like it, but for ppl like who have experienced love, it's not for us.

Not to mention for 22 years, I've seen my parents express their unyielding love for each other, and believe me Bella and Edward's relationship is a shallow puddle compared to what I've seen from my parents and am going through with my gf. I believe the books are better; sagas are usually better as books than movies 'cause so much gets skipped over. That being said, I don't know if love like the kind you're talking about really exists. And if it does, then it's very rare and many will never experience it...just my personal experience.

@85JenniLee Again you need to get out more, speaking as a person who's been rejected myself, my parents were the only example I had of what love looks like. Also these are Twilight fan-brats we're talking about here. Most Twilight fans have a grasp on how a real relationship is executed, but still like the book for its fictional elementals the Twlight fanbrats have no real concept of love outside of infatuation.

Just because you've been rejected, just because you've NEVER seen that kind of love doesn't mean it's nonexistence. You'd learn that if actually bothered to look. This is how I look at the world: if it can be touched, seen, or felt, then it can be proven to be true (or false, if the case may be). If it can not, then I don't believe in it until it can (or can't). But you're right about grammar: it doesn't have anything to do with being a Twight-brat, a group that's mainly comprised of the 12-18 age group. A group that is notorious for butchering the English language with their inablitiy to write, or even speak, correctly.

I got to know Halestorm through Shinedown and I have to say that I absolutely LOVE them. She has such a great voice. Love this song.
