Here's an idea for a Toonami resurrection promo vid:
If anyone knows about or remembers the famous commercial Apple made in the '80s with the person hurling a sledgehammer into a tv screen with some guy talking on it and hypnotizing an audience, I was thinking someone could put a slowed-down clip of Snyder openly bashing anime on the tv, have a bunch of kids being hypnotized, and have T.O.M. 3.0 bursting through the doors, running with the sledgehammer, and throwing it at the tv, destroying it.
on CN's second chanel boomerang they hav this thing called "boomeraction" thats sort of like toonami, but they should show toonami again saturday nights. it's a big part of CN history! bigger than Ben10 anyways!

Toonami was the best block on television when I was a kid, it had awesome shows, nothing like the total bullshit Cartoon Network puts out nowadays. Besides the numerous amounts of anime, they did honest game reviews every so often, had awesome voice talent (let's face it you can't get too much better than Steven Blum) and was just enjoyable all around. This just pissed me off when they got rid of it for these half-assed shows/

The main reason Toonami was cancelled was because it wasn't making enough money. If something isn't getting enough ratings, then it's cut. Cartoon Network was, and probably still is, having money problems, so they were budgeting and making some serious cut backs. Toonami happened to not make the cut.

I'm afraid to say that Toonami is gone. I loved Toonami, and all of its shows (especially Code Lyoko), and I wish it hadn't gone away. Sadly, two years later and its something that the younger kids who demand these new and weird shows on CN either don't remember, or have never heard of Toonami. I stopped watching cartoon network the day that Toonami was cancelled. The second I saw that "Final Broadcast" (Yeah right, it was more like a fucking funeral) I turned off CN and vowed to never go back.

I've tried watching these "Children's Shows". They're the worst excuses for children's shows I've ever tried to watch. I couldn't even get through a single episode of Flapjack it was so stupid, Chowder had its moments but overall is just trying too hard, and Total Drama Island is just...aweful.
Toonami should not only be brought back, but be brought back as a channel of its own. CN already has a spinoff channel (Boomerang) for all the old school cartoons, so why not just invent a new channel called simply "Toonami". 24/7 of all the shows that were ever in it and add a few other shows worthy of being on Toonami. There's definitely a large enough audience that would love this.
As long as you dont watch it they're not going to buy new seasons and wonder what is going on. Keep watching repeats of old shows that come on in the afternoons, that will tell them bring back the older shows and tell people not to watch any crappy shows.

Man I loved Toonami, I remember watching 'The Intruder' when I was little and loved watching it, but now...that's it gone...CN is now just like the Disney Channel...because parents had to complain somewhere along the line that it was inappropriate for some stpuid reason

I dunno if y'all know this but CN has "sort of" revived the old classic toons like the 'jetsons' on a network called "boomerang". Check it out. But I agree with another channel for toonami!

CN has gotten so low that at first it was the first channel i would flip to to see what's on. now, if im bored and i need something to watch, i flip through several channels except that one. if there's nothing on then i go and get a dvd. i wouldnt bother to even look at it. im so disgusted.

cn doesnt understand that toonami is what made the network what it is, because of toonami not only did hundreds of thousands of anime fans toon in to watch, but it made MILLIONS of new anime fans, dbz is considered the best anime show of all time thanks to the fans it drew from toonami, adult swim would have been nothing if it wasnt preceeded by the midnight run, CN, you cooperate douches have gone way too far. I've tried watching these "Children's Shows". They're the worst excuses for children's shows I've ever tried to watch. I couldn't even get through a single episode of Flapjack it was so stupid, Chowder had its moments but overall is just trying too hard, and Total Drama Island is just...aweful.

Toonami should not only be brought back, but be brought back as a channel of its own. CN already has a spinoff channel (Boomerang) for all the old school cartoons, so why not just invent a new channel called simply "Toonami". 24/7 of all the shows that were ever in it and add a few other shows worthy of being on Toonami. There's definitely a large enough audience that would love this.

As long as you dont watch it they're not going to buy new seasons and wonder what is going on. Keep watching repeats of old shows that come on in the afternoons, that will tell them bring back the older shows and tell people not to watch any crappy shows.
