Hi, Yes you can do work outs after the initial healing period of around 8 weeks, provided we use realistic sized implants, according to the leg dimensions.

Do you have many noticeable scars?

The scars are in the skin crease behind the knee.. after a few months are barely noticable.

You can walk the same day or the next... but about a week for one to get back to regular walking

Yes we do fat grafting for calf. The main problem is of fat survival. What survives at the end of 3-4 months will stay lifelong usually

what happens if you dont do a fasciatomy? Do all doctors do one before the implants are inserted?

@jamesgambino Not all patients need a fasciotomy, only if the pocket is tight then a fasciotomy is done or if we are using two implants for each leg.. medial and lateral... but all that is usually decided on table.
