Hiya my names Daniel Williams and i am receiving care for a mental illness i take olanzapine 20mg now,but have in the past been put in hospital from testimony from my next of kin.This was in the bowmere hospital Chester i was given the depot and was elergic and kept on it for months and they tried me on most of the depots and i was elergic and in agony.i have had open heat surgery when i was 4.My GP has diagnosed liver and kidney damage,and i have a blocked antrium
first off the CCHR is a Scientology Front Group against psychiatry and medication of ANY kind. secondly, this woman is clearly mentally ill and the editing of this video and her behavior shows that. regarding the editing when mary goes on to detail panic disorder to her doctor they cut that part out. although mary might not have known it she was having a panic attack and did not require a chest x-ray. she is quite an excitable woman and may indeed need mental health treatment.

@Alprazolam and you know that chest pain is the result of an panic attack? According to my horrible experiance a panic attack is just a little bit more than chest pain.

I think she was poorly mistreated by the UK mental health system. This is what happens when you allow well meaning but completely inept not medically trained politicians, committees, and local councils to have the power to section a member of society. olanzapine is not a sleeping tablet, its an antipsychotic used to treat psychosis and mania. They could've at least bothered to explain that properly :/
@skiddywinkle i agree, maybe it would be very very harsh for her to say here are some antipsychotics, once she's balanced the doctors will gradually explain the drug classification. but i agree you shouldn't give zyprexa for insomnia but i think the doctor was trying to treat mary's mental illness.
There are so many pills out there for metal illness from slight to minor conditions and trying to find the right pill for the right person is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. It has taken me 10 years nearly to find the right pill to suit me and many many appointments talking to doctors.
the nhs has turned out to be a 60 year mistake. it once was good - when you had matrons on wards but there are too many people who have come to england that have acute ailments from their poor countrys that now cost the nhs relentlessly.
thus, people like me - white, london born, straight male has to wait 2 weeks to merely see a doctor for 2 minutes.
Good deterrant, this is what the government does - puts obstruction in the way so people don't bother
@Mlhirdyahoocomau Shoush. I just got 2 prescriptions for some psycho drugs :) But that is related to my panic attacks due to tinnitus and hyperacusis. So with a good reason and only after 6 months of examinations and talking. I also have ADD but they don't give any medication for that. There is no need to poison ADD people. All we need is guidance. American and UK doctors may take an example to that!

I was mis diagnosed with bi-polar and or psychosomatic disoder earlier this year when I actually had a Kidney Infection and PID. My advice to anyone who has been mis-diagnosed is to contact your MP. Things certainly started moving quickly in terms of an internal investigation once I contacted mine.

attempted to leave the unit the following morning, I was almost transferred to the secure ward, which would have hardly improved my morale. I also had to deal with an extremely rude nurse during my stay.
While under a section (scottish) order, got a job abroad, walked out the country 2003 and have had no contact with mental health services. However,not escaped the brain damage given from a Clopixal depot. Maybe one day I'll engage them again, except this time be within environment of a court room.

I was mis diagnosed with bi-polar and or psychosomatic disoder earlier this year when I actually had a Kidney Infection and PID. My advice to anyone who has been mis-diagnosed is to contact your MP. Things certainly started moving quickly in terms of an internal investigation once I contacted mine.

Sadly, this is not a one off happening although one person being treated so appallingly is bad enough.
Most people are either treated like stupid children or brutalised into compliance or totally ignored by mental health services, when they need care.

same here,they kept me in a LOndon mental prison for 4 months.Just because they couldnt hear Jamie's and others voices they thought i must be mentally ill.i was only allowed to go to the shops.one of the managers agreed that he could hear the voice, yet they dint let me go.they locked me with these mad poeples.and they thought i was causing that chemical smell..i will never go beck there again.
