Submission wrestling is, in my book, better for women's self-defense than striking arts, although striking should be learned efficiently as well (shin and groin kicks, eye pokes etc.)

I like the eleven year old's spirit. She doesn't just automatically submit when Holly **at last** manages the armbar. She uses the counter she has been taught.
