its also good for hair and skin, fight tiredness and boost immunity, the taste is not so awesome (my opinion) but i mixed it with roiboos and green tea it makes pretty decent iced tea with no sugar and extra benefits.
A good alternative to stinging nettles is the mamaki plant from the Hawaiian Islands. They are a type of nettle that evolved to have no thorns and no sting. The old Hawaiian brewed them as a tea and herbal medicines for discomfort and childbirth. Also, they make a great green herb in your meals.
When I go camping sometimes I make this, I find 10-12 wild nettles as I like it strong, then brew heat it on a fire, then during the process add a few handfuls of clean grass, which, slightly oddly makes it taste like a normal tea.
oooh looks like green... love the video. Keep it up clean shirt. Yeah, it doesn't smell too good, or taste too good... but with manuka honey it's amazing!
Hang on... astringent smell and a commensurate flavor? lol
