When you were recording this, were you playing on a HDTV?

@SickKnife : Yeah... because when you record with a capture device like this, there's always that "controller lag", I bought a seperate smaller HDTV just for recording to minimize it lol

how much is this and can you still use turtle beaches with this

It's around $200 new, and yes you can still use the turtles... however, if your beaches dont have a seperate optical output (x2's, x1's, x3's even), you need to get a pair of RCA cable splitters (like $4) to split your audio from the Xbox to your Hauppauge AND your beaches. Not as hard as it sounds but good luck!

Hey sick quality, can you tell, when recording with this can you still play in 1080p?

Since the Hauppauge allows for the use of component cables, the highest playing quality that can be obtained is 1080i. I recorded this in only 720p for certain rendering reasons, so I'll try 1080i next.

1. Do you need to buy any extra cords or cables for your xbox360?

You'll need the xbox 360 component cables with red, green, and blue connectors. If they came with your version of xbox you're already good to go.

ya looks sweet. the choppiness in the 360 kinda makes it easier to tell what youre doing. when you see it in real time its just a blur. i can see ppl just sitting there watchin and thinkin wtf just happened haha
