Best thing to do, put on the very English music early evening (maybe as background music during the speeches but really low). After an hour or 2 put on some African music till about 10:00pm. After then - all yours. The older guests never stay too long and generally accept that the 'young generation' want their own music. We can't all dance 'Atilogu' all night.
