What the hell ? who said that they are banned ? i saw them all over the Europe. And they sure not the most aggressive :D They are calm, and very smart dogs.
They are not benned in all europe. In my country they don't know nothing about this breed. They are very good guard dogs and in not recommendet to do agresiv train with them.
@ralucosmi ok, I'm african and people tend to breed the tribal african species that make part of the rhodesian ridgeback with dangerous breeds of dog, that do actually fend off and kill lions (like most ridgebacks).

Now i have 5 dog (2 not breed takeit from the stret , 1 Great Dane , 1 Minipincher and Buffy my Rr) and i don't have space for other dog , but next dog will be sure another rodesian. I know in Germany is benned too , but in Czech and Slovac are very apreciat and popular breed.
Take care, a jack russell and a RR are two totally different pairs of shoes. A JAck can easily be kept in a flat, if you can stand the noise. A RR can sleep all day, will hardly ever bark but needs a solid our of fast running per day as a minimum. also calculate half the back of your car (if you have an estate car or van, that is) for the dog, whereas the Jack just fits in everywhere. I see the difference with my brothjer who hasd a Jack, me a RR

i own a jack russle terrier and am doing research or RRs because my jack is getting slower and i want to have a rhodesian and a wire fox terrier
