I love Ben Kweller. First song I remember hearing was "Wasted and Ready." He always makes me want to watch Freaks and Geeks. Sheer genius. Sincerely amazing.

Also, I love Asher's sample. It was tastefully done, and this was the perfect song for him to use for his work.

What he did is called a cover you should probably look into that. As well as the fact that the lyrics are COMPLETELY different the only thing he used was the guys chorus. and infact a lot of artists do that as a kind of tribute to people who inspired them
