Back in college, one night a gal on my Resident assistant staff, well, after months of sexual tension, we just attacked each other in my room. As she laid back on my bed. . .and I settled between her tight, young taught thighs to munch on her gorgeous pussy, well,I paused. . looked at her and said "I heard a song earlier today, that I feel serves as a keynote for this moment, EVERYBODY HAVE FUN TONIGHT, EVERYBODY WANG CHUNG TONIGHT" She laughed cause she knew cheers and then I rocked her world!
other than Seinfeld, this is the last great sitcom. The Office could possibly be thrown in there...but in my eyes The Office has only had about 3 or 4 good seasons.
@GoBucks2828 the first 4 seasons of The Office were genius, but now Parks and Rec is funnier than it. But I think you might be forgetting King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond, both of those shows were fantastic
Bleh Seinfeld is a million times better than this. I really don't get Frasier or Cheers. Curbed, AD and hell even something like modern family are way funnier as well.
I can't remember the episode, but I loved Frasier's talk about everyone having an erotic, hair-trigger response to at least one of the five sensory stimuli.
dude thank you I came on youtube thinking man I want to make a video of my favorite tv moments and this was the first scene I wanted but I was like I bet I wont find it though but you did it thank you it was the first thing to come up you are now my best friend you rock call me were gonna out i don't even care where
I did indeed quote this exact speech at my Brothers Wedding. About 3 people laughed(including myself and my brother) The rest never had a clue what I was on about. Maybe had you guys been invited, then it would have got a more positive response. :-)
Off hand I can't remember which season - I think it is 5 or 6, but It came from the 1987 episode called - "To All The Women I Have Loved", which is about Frazier's Bachelor party before marrying Lilith. You should be able to look it up from there - Chris Will

I borrowed this line to end off my speech at my son's grade 12 graduation. Got a lot of laughs, too!

Most memorable line from Cheers.
Classic.

Do you know they had to pay royalties to Wang Chung to use that lyric for this joke? Same thing happened in "13 Going on 30", too.

@PANZYPOTTER I would've gotten the reference, and I was only 2 when the song came out.

Too bad it cut off. Cliff says, "I think we got a madman on our hands" and Frasier says, "I had a nap!"

The problem with cheers is there's no Niles :)

Pierce was more important to the success of the series than most would ever realize.

Agreed 100%.

David Hyde Pierce took one word...."what?".....and turned it into a trademark line for Niles Crane.
maryquant1967 3 years ago 5
Is it true that the guy who plays Niles in Frasier is actually the lead singer in Wang Chung?
subtlestick 3 years ago
No, it is not true.
