Nice guys they are off-stage too. I worked with 'em as an impromtu "fill-in" roadie some years ago (just Chas and Dave) and you couldn't get a more genuine, modest pair of blokes. They were more than willing to roll their sleeves up and muck-in too. Dave had given me standing orders to watch Chas and not let him lift anything (in the wake of his surgery) - of course he ignored both of us and continued "helping out" - much to our consternation. Top blokes - we need more like 'em in the world!
@billyconnearly Unfortunately Mickey Burt is unlikely to be on their forthcoming reuinion / farewell tour due to ill-health (they'll be using Chas' son instead, an excellent drummer too).
