Formula 1 regulation brought in 2.4 litre V8 engines in 2006. Prior to this they were 3 litre V10s.

That's 'position' and not as you said: 'speed'.
If your speed changes, it is acceleration. If your position changes, the qualities of change are distance; direction; and speed (distance over time).

They echnically race with the same cars but trust me... there are better and worse team in GP2. Hamilton won the GP2 title with the same team as Nico Rosberg did with in the previous year. That team was undoubtedly the best team in those 2 years and the GP2 paddock would agree with that

Haha, if youre mean 2006, Schumacher was about 70 seconds behind after the pit stop. He was about 35-40 seconds faster than Massa, when Hamilton even lost time to Alonso, who the team didnt support.
And Schumacher was fourth so there was nothing same with the performances

He wouldn't have had the "gearbox" problem if he hadn't of tried that stupid move trying to pass Alonso needlessly on the first lap. Besides, the McLaren were convicted of cheating so if they were to have won the championship I fail to see how it would have been any less hollow than Raikkonens (who won twice as many races at Hamilton, BTW)

Don't be so sure Hamilton will get any better:
1. He had thousands of miles more F1 training than any "rookie" in history - so he'd already gone through 90% of the learning curve compared to most rookies.
2. He had the best car this year and McLaren may lose their momentum as they often do in the off-season transition.
3. Kimi may come out of the box a lot better next year and back-to-back the Title.
Lewis is good - but he may not yet end up great.

Hamilton has only won 4 of his first 16 races. Jaques Villeneuve did that in 96 and ended up a nobody. Hamilton has done nothing yet to be called a great. Had he started at Red Bull or Renault or Williams like all other rookies - he wouldn't have attracted any attention. It's just the car, not him! (Though admittedly he has made less mistakes than Alonso)

Its you that plainly knows nothing - Hami went out a head of Alonso to fuck up his quali session (which worked) and was reprimanded by McLaren (but not punished by FIA, as Alonso was when he retaliated by blocking Hami in the pits). It's like the school kid thumping another kid and then getting decked back, and only the second kid gets busted. This was when i decided i hoped Hami lost the WDC - which he did (thanks also to some choking in China and Brazil)
