In 2004 only 80,000,000 people voted for state officials, and in 2008, 135,000,000 voted. Now i am only assuming but would venture to bet that a lot of these in both categories were blindly voting, but still the 50,000,000 difference is startling. The votes in 2006 and again the ones who will be voted upon this year, are the ones that matter. PLEASE RESEARCH and VOTE FOR STATE AND LOCAL OFFICIALS, stop just complaining about how your government is screwing "you" over.

Now i ask to the sensible and "want to be aware" voters out there. Vote for STATE OFFICIALS. These are the ones that vote for the bills that are presented and passed. Now with these individuals it is imperative that you do your research and don't just vote left or right. Make sure that this candidate is representing your ideals and directions that you want your country going in. For these State officials are the votes that count.
