I can sure see the Siberian origins to Shintoism. Like the people of the Arctic Circle, there is a great reverence to the sun. This can be seen in Japan, the land of the rising sun, the flag of Japan, and the sun goddess of Shintoism, Amaterasu. But unfortunately, Shintoism was made into the state religion of Japan, before and during Word War II. But now we can see the positive aspects about Shintoism. I am sure this makes Amaterasu very happy.
I love shinto. It's so interesting how japan retained it's ancient religion today, in the midst of modernization and all. I love how nature centered it is and accepting, unlike some modern religions of today.
You are misinformed, YoungGun08816. Of course the origins of Shintoism isn't a state religion. The origins of Shintoism isn't too different from the beliefs of the Hawaiian islanders or the Druids. It's a polytheistic belief that 'gods' dwell in trees, springs, etc. I find that you are in fact hate mongering as you are operating on the premise that the Imperial Japanese Army of WWII is still in power. Will you only be happy when the island is nuked and all the Japanese are dead?
@Fahadinho1985 the islam is like what 2000 ears old? HAHAHA that cant be right no religion of that age could be right why would the people lived before that time or even after lived if ALLAH created the shit and all his rules
@svenno121 islam is 1432 years old, and its the right religion and the holy Quran is the Word of God, please read about islam and the Holy Quran im sure ull find all the answers Enshallah
@Fahadinho1985 oke explain to me how people could have lived before mohammed? if they were doing it bad wouldnt we be dead right know for not following the islam?
@svenno121 ~1250 yrs old actually...its based off of when their prophet received his revelations and began teaching the religion. they know they come from abrahamic religion origins....you should probably do a little research next time kiddo. religion was created by people when they learned to communicate, it doesnt have to be the answer to the universe...its made up to explain what people couldnt explain in the past or to give them answers about how to live their life in a virtuous manner.
One important thing this video neglects: the true origin of Shinto. When you say Shinto is a traditional religion of Japan, it is deceptive. A well written article on Shinto at a WSU site. Check out my Profile then click the Website to find out the true origin.

@svenno121 Just because its old doesn't make it right. Archaic ideas aren't valued into todays societies for example.
