Mut'a is haram in Islam, learn before you speak. We'll deal with our own issues you go and tackle the abundance of sex, crime and drugs in your own neighborhoods before pointing the finger at Muslims.

Mut'a is permitted in Shia, and it is also practiced in parts of Yemen and Saudi Arabia (read Carmen bin Ladin's book "Inside the Kingdom" - it was practiced by bin Laden's father). Did you read the article about Iran? Forced prostitution is a worldwide problem, and it seems to be worse in countries with supposedly strict laws.

Maybe you didn't get it, but the reason I said its haram is because i'm a sunni, and as per our beliefs Mut'a is haram in Islam.

The "abundance" you perceive is a product of mass media and a free society where problems are aired in the open, not hidden. If our neighborhoods were so dangerous, people around the world wouldn't be coming here in such numbers.

The abundance is not just the product of mass media, its the product of a society where the basic fabric of a family has crumbled. The fact that most of the criminals blame their broken homes for later crimes coupled with the fact that the divorce rate is skyrocketing in your countries shows us why there is so much crime in your midst. Try walking in a gang neighborhood at night without getting shot. hence, put your own house in order, we'll take care of our own.

The only thing that invites the US is when your heros the suicide bombers and throat slitters committ crimes around the world and brainwashed people like you give them the required support to keep up their activities. The Karachi violence must be investigated and the perpetrators brought to justice. People should use the non-violent path and use the courts and the electronic media to bring this in the limelight, not by going psycho and turning into vigilantes to further push our nation towards anarchy.

recently karazi pardoned a guy from pak tribal areas who was 11 or 12 and was going to do suidice bombing to kill the governor of afghanistan! his father told, when interviewed, that he sent his kid to a religious school to learn quran and instead they brainwashed his young and innocent mind to kill innocent people! may Allah give musharaf the power to eradicate these extremists and terrorsts and save innocent children from being victimized in the name of islam!long live musharaf!
