"God created the heavens and the earth" That's pretty vague because we know the structures in the universe don't just appear. Unless God made the universe so that we can prove that its older, but its not, it wasn't created in 7 days.

the odds against the simplest living cell coming into existence by chance are mathematically impossible, life by chance is completely ruled out by math. You have a better chance of taking a running leap and jumping up to the moon, or of winning the powerball lottery every day for 500 years in a row than getting the combination (by chance) necessary for the first self-reproducing living cell to arise by chance. There are just too many impossibilities that would have to be overcome. Impossible.

Logic dictates that complexity first began from a simple state and that a complexity cannot emerge out of nothingness; e.g. humans cannot have come int existence out of nothingness, but rather from through reproduction.
Logic law 1: all living things come from other living things, i.e. you have a mother.

the verse you are thinking of is Revalation 19:6. Everio17. you're right it does'nt say that God can create the univers in an instant but it is a known fact that He can. because He is Omnipresent (all present or everywhere at once), Omniscient(all knowing) and Omnipotent(all powerfull) . In my opinion God created the earth in 7 days because that is His number "777" , so the Bible is like a puzzle. but none of the peices are deformed. everything goes together and nothing is contridicted.

Many "dinosaur" finds show sudden and catastrophic death, buried under/in sedement. The Bible also says that "the fountains of the deep were broken up" during Noah's flood. This is the tectonic plates and is why we have huge mountain ranges now and earthquakes.

My Bible tells me that God made everything in 6 days and rested on the 7th day(the number 7 in the Bible means perfect, completion). He could have made it in 6 seconds if he wanted but it was in days so that man would have "days" to live by(a day and a night).
Please note though that physically we also live in a changed world due to the(Noah's) flood.

unfortunately, that does not disprove darwins theory at all, because the Theory of Evolution talks about the CHANGES in life, not the BEGINNING of life. The creation of life is dealt with in the field of Abiogenesis. Evolution is an entirely different field of study and has NOTHING to with Abiogenesis.

the odds against the simplest living cell coming into existence by chance are mathematically impossible, life by chance is completely ruled out by math. You have a better chance of taking a running leap and jumping up to the moon, or of winning the powerball lottery every day for 500 years in a row than getting the combination (by chance) necessary for the first self-reproducing living cell to arise by chance. There are just too many impossibilities that would have to be overcome. Impossible.

actually blue-green algae has been dated back almost 3 billion years, and its first variant is 1.6 billion years old, it couldn't evolve until there was enough oxygen in the atmosphere so straight from the getgo this bloke is wrong, and i think belief in the afterlife is a your inability to accept one day you are going to die and that's it. you have such a small mind you can accept that you don't know everything and that means you don't try to to know it all"ill just wait until I'm dead" pitiful

I do not believe in heaven. I believe it is figment of the collective imagination of man, and also a deterent to wondeful things in reality. The world you live in is the only heaven, (or hell) you will ever experience. Life itself is the only true divinity. I'm not tryin to start a debate, and I pretty knowledable of both sides of the debate. My choice is based on facts, your choice is based on faith.

Well I have gotten used to saying intelligent design because people are quicker to anger when I would say "god". By saying intelligent design im speaking their language in a way. The question is All the worlds great religions speak of the soul enduring after death. (heaven,afterlife)
