the contrasting styles of Hindustani Vocal and Carnatic styles can not be starker.As I prefer the hindustani style I am partial to Bhimsenji!The difference is the emphasis given while singing "Taaye," " Bharatiye" and I prefer the hindustani version! The taan pattern and breath control for which Bhimsenji was legendary and famous is just out of this world!
