I have always felt that no one should get a record deal based only on songs they perform on Youtube. I think live gigs are essential to getting a better since of who the artist is , to whom they will appeal and to develop skills . Having said that I will never understand how someone like Rebecca Black [Friday] gets singed to a deal while someone like you who is a real musician and is clearly much more talented gets little or no attention.
