  • pretty fish

  • Hi I have been wanting to get an oranda goldfish but I have been reading up on them and it says they aren't hardy and cant live in ponds.Yet I see yours as grown big and healthy in an outdoor pond.

  • @pinkraindrop101 Sure. they can certainly live in a pond, but not too deep of a pond, around 10 inch to 20 inch deep. You just have to make sure it's an assorted goldfish pond only. You have to search for important goldfish tips like quarantine, mixing different bacterias, medications, etc...

  • redcap oranda

  • bro steppen03, how to make the head of my oranda bigger just like your oranda?....

  • the fish has to have big head to begin with, and then it will grow bigger with feeding and exercise. 1 inch of fish equal 1 gallon of water at least. A big 8 inch fish will need 50 gallon tank.

  • AWESOME! :)

  • how to make this oranda big like this?...

can i ask something bro's?... if the rain water mix in the pond, is the oranda will die?.... coz my pond is open....

    tnx..

  • No. the rain will not kill your fishes. But do keep you bio-filters clean, and medicate when signs of stress appears.

  • bro steppen03... bro if the water of the oranda mix with a rain water is the oranda will die?... coz my oranda is dying... where should i put my oranda?...

  • wow that is nice :)

  • HELP my black moor is dieing from pop eye

  • wow thats quite big i have a black oranda called churchill who is 2 years old and 6 inches in length. .

chech out my vids churchill the fish

    x

  • they had one of these fish for sale about the same size but it was gold i thought it was so cool my mom and friend thought other wise

  • you can tell the fish is really stressing out. If you look at its fin and tail it has red veins meaning its shocked.

  • Rlly?

  • yes

  • actually it is to do with blood pressure and heart rate, shock is sudden and does not bring about veining, but stress that could be brought on by change in temp, like a bucket's colder water might do it.

  • yes, these are common factor. true.

  • it's true but not everytime. the redness can also comes from "inner stress" that we cannot tell - when there's inner stress, it can be treated by medicated foods.

  • U should make a vid with a three inch goldfihs next to it.... just to compare.

  • ☻/

  • Is that including the tail?

  • yes, including the tail. from head to body it's 8 inches, the tail is 4 inches.

  • is samson still alive and nice fish?

  • Now I did. They are in 200gallon pond. I will have more vids coming week.

  • Wow Samson is amazing! how did you get him to grow so big?

  • Every fish is different... just like people. Some fishes will grow way beyond their peers. But, alot of feedings and exercise is a given.
