  • the samples at 1.02 are amazing, i could listen to them for ever

  • can any one explain how the metronome signal reaches the drummer- without the click track playing though the speakers?

  • @Tacadoband having your master output and cue output on different hardware outputs. i can do this with my focusrite saffire pro24 but im sure you can do it with most audio interfaces

  • @Tacadoband With more expensive audio hardware they can route separate outputs - so the metronome would be out of say output 2 while all else is output 1. It's also how DJs can preview tracks before dropping them

  • Dude are you serious? They are actual musicians. In order of their introductions there's Murph, bass player. Jeffery, percussionist. Hunter, guitarist. Phipps, keyboardist. And there's Zach the drummer. They just use Ableton to supplement their playing, and they do an amazing job, maybe you should actually watch/listen to them/ go see them before you make a foolish statement like that.

  • can you teach me how to type like that

  • murphs a crackhead. its ridicalis!

  • hahah cant hear shit!

  • people who dont know will flag this comment as shit... but people who know actually know that live is the best, the same as reason, the same as protools, it is audio, what do you want to do with it?

  • You're right mate, I personally think ableton is probably the best thing out there purely because you can produce live.I mean I'm sure you already know, but I think it's so cool that you can DJ in a club with it and do live remixes, and then have people ask you what remix you just played!!sasha for example, one-off remixes on the fly.I'm still getting my head round it

  • Definitely its all about how you use it. Half the fun is finding something you can work with. I would like to say that your audio program, vsts, +hardware do not define your sound (at least they shouldn't). Better conquer and ride that monster we call music.

  • bad post...can't hear the audio

P.S. greatest live band on the planet right now period.

  • are you really this narrow minded? I'm not a fanboy, but if you can't appreciate their live performances (such as live @ the tabernacle.. youtube it) there's something wrong with you.

  • you shut the fuck up, do you get pissed every time you see someone with more talent then you? Using computers while they play live music is complex, most of the material they use they created themselves, and they are incredible at what they do. You don't need fucking singing to create great music douchebag.

  • damn, every heard of using a microphone for interviews.

  • the dude has talant tho

  • man how bad can the sound get

  • Reeeeeeally poor recording.
