I agree with earlier post... I know the F1 transmissions are great for the track, but according to 3 Ferrari mechanics that I've talked to... manual is the way to go, if you are a true "petrol head".

Electronic transmissions have come a long way. The paddle shifters in the F430 are F1 paddle shifters. You don't see a stick in F1 cars do you?!
